Colin Clarke

Colin Clarke a member of the club since January 2005 died Wednesday 10th 2007.  For those who didn't know Colin, he was the singer that would sing at the end of the evening, "Take your glasses to the bar".  Colin was a kind soul and will be sadly missed by us all.

Colin Clarke
Charity Singers Night

Thursday 17th May 2007 was a great night with many talented singers and musicians present.   I think Colin would have been very pleased with the turn out for him.   Below is a letter from Jane Clark, Colin's wife giving details of the the money collected for Colin's favourite charities.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the photos.  They're really good. (Ed. refers to Photos of Colin from 2006)
The donations on Thursday add up to £211.50.   I'll send those off ASAP and ask for receipts.
It was a great evening and I'm pleased I got to sing THAT song.  I won't be at the club next week as I'm having an operation on Wednesday and will be recovering.

Hope I'll be OK by the following Thursday.

Kind regards

Jane.
