Liz Simcock has been writing songs and performing them in acoustic and folk clubs in and around London for the last six years. In 1999 she featured on the Playpen Album of New Acoustic Music alongside Eliza Carthy, Billy Bragg, Eddi Reader and Kathryn Williams. Rock 'n' Reel described her as "a revelation", dubbing her "a (warmer) June Tabor". Promotional tours of Brijain and Italy followed the release of the album. Liz lives in London where she leads a double life: part singer-songwriter and part clinical nurse specialist. Her first album "Seven Sisters Road" is features guest artists Dave Ellis (guitar), Jake Walker (viola) and Sarah Barton (cello).
